Voters across the state are headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their vote.

There are 262 voting precincts just in Tulsa county alone and many expect to be packed throughout the day.

In Tulsa County voters can cast their ballot from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at their designated precinct, although according to Election Board voters will need to remain patient when coming to the polls since a little under 300,000 Tulsa County voters are expected to cast their ballots today.

Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman said, "be prepared to wait in bigger precincts be prepared to wait in long lines and be patient with our workers as they are trying to not only process what looks to be a record number of voters but keep the place clean."

News On 6's Brooke Griffin was live on the scene as the Church of the Madalene opened its doors to voters early on Tuesday morning.
