Jay Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder

Officials said a Jay man has been arrested after a woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said the Delaware County Sheriff's Office requested it to investigate the murder of a Jay woman.

Officials said law enforcement went out to a Jay home after receiving 911 calls.

Officials said Mary Hackathorn was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

Officials said 60-year-old John Hackathorn was arrested and faces a first-degree murder charge. He is being held in the Delaware County jail without bond.
