Man Killed After Being Hit By Semi-Truck, Tulsa Police Say

A portion of Highway 75 was closed early on Monday morning after Tulsa police said a semi-truck hit and killed a pedestrian.

Around 2 a.m. officers arrived on the scene of the accident that occurred in the northbound lane of Highway 75 between West 81st Street South and West 91st Street South.

According to police, a man was walking in the middle of the street when he was hit by a semi-truck. Investigators pronounced the man dead on the scene. Police said they are now working to identify the man who was killed.

The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured, and the truck will be towed away.
