Tulsa Police Search For Woman Involved In Overnight Robbery

Tulsa police are searching for a woman who they say robbed the Country Inn and Suites Hotel near I-244 and North Garnet Road on Sunday night.

According to officers, the woman walked into the lobby of the hotel just after midnight on Sunday and asked the front desk attendant about renting a room. Police said that the woman then asked the front desk about security, and was told that the hotel did have security cameras. The woman then left before coming back moments later and jumping over the front desk to demand money from the hotel staff.

According to police, the woman implied to the staff that she had a gun so the hotel worker locked themselves in a nearby room.

Police said that the woman ran away and they have not been able to find her.

The employee was not hurt in the altercation.
