Veterans Day: Celebrations Across Northeast Oklahoma

Several events are happening across Green Country on Veterans Day to honor those who have served our country. A parade will be held in Downtown Tulsa that will begin at 11 a.m. at East 3rd Street and South Cincinnati Avenue where 2000 people are expected to participate.

Several events are happening across Green Country on Veterans Day to honor those who have served our country.

A parade will be held in Downtown Tulsa that will begin at 11 a.m. at East 3rd Street and South Cincinnati Avenue where 2000 people are expected to participate.

The City of Collinsville will be hosting their annual ceremony at 9 a.m. followed by a parade at 11 a.m. that will start at the Veterans Community Center on North 9th Street and West Main Street.

The City of Pryor will also salute our nation's veterans with a parade that will take place at 11 a.m. it will begin on East Graham Avenue on Adair Street and end at the Mayes County Courthouse.;

Other private events will also be taking place across the state, Covenant Living will be honoring their residents who served and Georgia Pacific in Muskogee will be honoring team members who are veterans.

Several restaurants and businesses will also be offering discounts and special deals on Wednesday.
