Tulsa police say a man is in jail on two complaints of armed robbery after holding a dishwasher at gunpoint overnight.

Police arrested Quinton Dion Jackson after they say he forced a dishwasher back into Zio's Italian kitchen near 71st and Mingo just after midnight. Officers say the victim was emptying the trash into the dumpster when Jackson approached.

Officers say the manager saw what was going on and warned other employees to shelter in place. Witnesses say Jackson tried to kick in several doors but was unsuccessful and fled the scene. Police arrived there just as Jackson was running away and saw him running into Windsail Apartments.

Officers then set up a perimeter and eventually took Jackson into custody. Jackson also matched the suspect description from an armed robbery at Fiesta Mart about an hour earlier near 31st and Harvard.
