The Sand Springs City Council is set to meet on Monday evening where they are expected to discuss COVID-19.
The City of Sand Springs put out a notice on Facebook on Sunday evening stating that there had been some confusion about what was going to happen at the meeting.
According to their post, city officials said that they had received several questions from people asking if they are passing an ordinance at Monday's meeting. In the post, it was detailed that while there is a general agenda item to discuss COVID-19, it does not include a mask ordinance.
City officials said that if it is determined that other action should be taken, that there would be another meeting to hold a formal discussion on the matter.
Monday's meeting is set to take place at 6 p.m. at the Case Community Center.
