Sapulpa City Council Approves Mask Mandate

Sapulpa becomes the latest Tulsa suburb to implement a mask mandate as the city council passed the ordinance with a vote of 6-4 Monday night.

Sapulpa Mayor Craig Henderson said he knew the council needed to do something to help stop the spread.

The mask mandate applies to anyone 10 years old or older. Local health officials said the latest and best data shows that masks can help stop the transmission of COVID-19.
