Rogers County Sheriffs Save Woman, 10-Year-Old Nephew Lost On Hiking Trail

A woman and her 10-year-old nephew are safe at home on Tuesday morning after getting lost on the Will Rogers Trail on Monday, according to the Rogers County Sheriff's office.

Crews on horseback, ATVs and on foot began searching for the two in the densely wooded area after dark.

According to officers, they were able to speak to the woman on her cell-phone at one point during the search.

Around 7:30 p.m. search crews found the pair and were able to lead them out of the woods and onto a boat at a nearby marina.

Both the woman and her nephew were unhurt.
