2 Turkeys Square Off For Presidential Pardon

A tradition dating back to 1947 will continue on Tuesday as President Donald Trump will pardon a turkey. The contenders squaring off for the honor are named Corn and Cob.

A tradition dating back to 1947 will continue on Tuesday as President Donald Trump will pardon a turkey.

The contenders squaring off for the honor are named Corn and Cob.

The duo made their public debut on Monday during a news conference in Washington, D.C.

One of the turkeys will be presented at the annual White House Turkey Pardon as the 2020 National Thanksgiving Turkey,

Corn weighs in at 42 pounds and Cob sits at 41 pounds.

After the pardon Corn and Cob will head to Iowa State University to take part in the animal sciences and veterinary departments.
