Here’s a look at six things to know before you set your alarm for Saturday.
.EDUCATE YOURSELF: A traveling exhibit on the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre will be on display at the Honey Springs Battlefield Visitor Center in Checotah. Tickets are $5 and less.
.MARCH FOR FOOD: More than 50 soldiers will march from the Army Reserve Center in Okmulgee to the Salvation Army to donate food for families in need. The march starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
.SHOP WITH A COP: The Rotary Club of Tulsa will host its annual Shop with a Cop event. Kids will get to shop with a police officer at Target to do their Christmas shopping.
.CHRISTMAS PARADE: The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Christmas parade. This year, due to the pandemic, the parade will be in drive-thru format on the Rogers State University campus. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m.
.SANTA AT THE ZOO: Santa and his reindeer are coming to the Tulsa Zoo. Families can take pictures with Santa, feed the reindeer and drop off Christmas letters.
.PLAYOFF SEASON: Two state championships are on the line. Jenks takes on Edmond Santa Fe at 1 p.m. and Bixby will face Choctaw at 7 p.m. Both games will be played at the University of Central Oklahoma.
