Starting on Monday, Union Public Schools will be offering two options for students to get their free meals while they are in distance learning. They will have a choice of delivery or pickup when it comes to staying well fed while staying at home to learn.
Union Public Schools will be delivering meals via the sixth grade bus routes and 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. from December 7 to December 18. The meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each student in the household. Parents are encouraged to pick up the meals, but if they are not available, the student themselves can wait at the bus stop to receive their package of meals. To find the nearest sixth grade bus route, Click Here and click on the sixth grade bus route option. For any questions about these programs, the district suggests calling Lisa Griffin at 918-357-6132.
UPS also has a meal pickup option for those who would rather pick up their food through December 18. Every Union school is a pickup location except for the Alternative Education location. Parents can pick up breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two days at a time at these locations between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. To find your nearest location, Click Here.
