Wellness Wednesday: The Impact Of Postponing Elective Procedures

With more than 100 medical facilities across the country canceling or postponing elective procedures during the pandemic, many cancer patients are not receiving the care they need.

A recent study suggested delaying treatment by even one month can raise a patient's risk of dying by 6 to 13-percent.
