New Law Co-Sponsored By Lankford Will Help Communities Reduce Impact Of Natural Disasters

President Trump signed a bill aimed at helping communities reduce the impact of natural disasters.

The STORM Act establishes loans that local governments can use to fund projects that reduce the risk of natural disasters.

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford was a co-sponsor of the bill.

Lankford said the new law will help Oklahoma and other states prepare for future disasters in a way that saves lives and taxpayer dollars.
