Cowboys Drop Conference Game As Mountaineers Make Late Comeback

With eight minutes left in the second half, it looked like the Cowboys were cruising to a sound victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Pokes led by as many as 19 in the second half, but after an 11-0 Mountaineer run chipped down at the deficit, the Cowboys just couldn’t hold on.

OSU falls 87-84 in a tight race that will drop them to 1-3 in the Big 12. West Virginia, while ranked #14, was only 1-2 in the conference entering the game Monday night.
