Two northeast Oklahoma lawmakers hope to rename a section of State Highway 20 after a fallen Owasso Solider.

Technical Sergeant Marshall Roberts was a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. He was killed in a rocket attack while serving in Iraq last year. Roberts is the first Oklahoma Air Guard killed in action and was 28 years old. Lawmakers want to rename part of Highway 20 the "Tech Sergeant Marshall D Roberts Memorial Highway".

It would start at the intersection of North 145th East Avenue in Owasso and extend into Rogers County.
