Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Saturday.
.GRAB SOME FOOD: There’s a food giveaway at AME Church on Greenwood Saturday. 300 families are already expected. It’s from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
.LEND A HAND: If you’re looking for a way to help, there’s a pack-it-up, drop-it-off event at Iron Gate in downtown Tulsa. Just pack up the requested items, write a message on the bag and drop it off from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
.LIVING ART: If you missed the Second Friday Art Crawl, there’s still time to check out the work that artists painted storefronts through downtown. Each piece inspires hope, unity and compassion. That’s the theme at Living Arts of Tulsa now through January 23.
.FURREVER FRIEND: An all-breed dog rescue is hosting an adoption event Saturday. It’s from 12-4 p.m. at the Petsmart in Broken Arrow.
.WEDDING PLANNING: Calling all brides – the Tulsa Wedding Show is the largest in our area, featuring more than 60 vendors. It starts Saturday at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel.
.KICKOFF: The Wild Card playoffs start Saturday. The Colts are taking on the Buffalo Bills, the Rams in Seattle, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face Washington.
