Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Tuesday.
.VACCINE QUESTIONS? The Tulsa Health Department will answer questions about the vaccine distribution as Tuesday marks day two of those 65 and older qualifying for the shot. That’s at 9 a.m.
.THANK YOUR PHARMACIST: Tuesday is National Pharmacist Day. They are playing a huge role in giving out COVID-19 vaccines, so thank your pharmacist if you see them Tuesday.
.BACK TO CLASS: Students in two Green Country districts will head back to the classroom. In-person learning starts for Coweta, except for the 5th Grade Intermediate Center. In McAlester, students with last names that begin with the letters A-K will go back to school.
.GET A GRANT: Applications open Tuesday for a new grant based in Tulsa. It’s the Commemoration Fund Grant, put on by the Zarrow Foundation. It’s to help people of color who are trying to make a difference.
.TULSA RACES: It’s Chili Bowl week in Tulsa. Qualifying continues at Expo Square Tuesday through Friday with feature races starting on Saturday.
.HOME ON THE HARDWOOD: OSU and OU both on the hardwood at home Tuesday night. The Sooners tipoff against TCU at 6:30 p.m. and the Cowboys take on Kansas at 7 p.m.
