Amazing Oklahoman: Liz Stephens

News on 6 is recognizing one amazing Oklahoman for her dedication to her job.

Liz Stephens is a mail carrier, who has been delivering mail to people in Oktaha in Muskogee County for 12 years.

We’re told residents can always count on Stephens to deliver their mail, no matter how extreme Oklahoma’s weather gets. They said once during a tornado, Stephens had to take shelter at one of the homes on her route, but as soon as the storm passed, she kept right on delivering the mail.
