Veteran Salute: Elmer Phillips

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we honor Elmer Phillips.

Elmer recently turned 95-years-old.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and World War II.

We're told, he is an incredible dad and a strong Christian role-model with the best advice and kindest heart.
