As many as 30 high-level jobs are coming to Stroud now that a local turbine manufacturer is partnering with General Electric.
“These agreements, especially working with GE and some of those major manufacturers, are super complex. And to get that across the finish line is really a testament to the leadership of this organization,” Governor Kevin Stitt said.
Mint Turbines will now do maintenance and repair work for GE on several airplane turbines.
The company said they will also be investing $5 million into the Green Country economy to expand its facility in Stroud.
