On Wednesday, the Tulsa City Council is expected to meet to talk about the future of the existing pedestrian bridge over the Arkansas River.
Some want the 200-year-old bridge to stay, but the city said that it will not last much longer.
According to the city, the price of the extensive repair work would cost about the same as building a new bridge.
The future of the bridge will be discussed in a meeting on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
