Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Wednesday.
1.VACCINES FOR FREE: More than 400 COVID-19 vaccines will be given for free Wednesday at Rose Bowl Tulsa on 11th street. It is appointment-only and for Phase 1 and 2 priority groups.
2.NEW DETAILS: The State Health Department will give an update Wednesday on how vaccine distribution is going. That’s at 11:30 a.m.
3.TRAFFIC ALERT: A heads-up on the roads Wednesday – crews will be repairing fire hydrants on E 4th Street. You’ll see some shifts or detours at 118th East Avenue.
4.SIGNING INTENT: Wednesday is national signing day. High school seniors can sign the national letter of intent for college football.
5.MOVIE NOMINATIONS: The 2021 TV and Film Awards season kicks off Wednesday with the Golden Globe nominations. The awards are on February 28, later than usual because of the pandemic.
6.FILM FEST IN TULSA: Sundance Film Festival concludes Wednesday with screenings of its award winners.
