4-Year-Old Girl Makes Incredible Fossil Discovery In The UK

A four-year-old girl in the United Kington made an incredible fossil discovery. Lily Wilder found a fossilized foot-print while on a walk on the beach in South Wales.

Her family said at first they were not sure what she had found, so they posted pictures on Facebook and soon, Paleontologists were telling Lily and her family just how incredible the discovery was.

"I was blown away by it. It's just an amazing footprint, best I've ever seen from this area," said Cindy Howells a Paleontologist at the National Museum of Wales.

Scientists are trying to identify the species, but say it walked on two legs, was about two and half feet tall, and lived about 220-million years ago.
