A judge denied a request to throw out a third manslaughter charge against a Green Country man.

Wade Jameson was charged with the deaths of Michael and Angela Mulanax and their son James, in a crash on Christmas Eve in 2009.

Jameson initially pleaded guilty, but then took back his plea and after years of court delays, he was set to stand trial for three counts of manslaughter.

After the Supreme Court’s ruling on tribal jurisdiction, two of the manslaughter charges were dropped because the victims were Creek. Then, Jameson asked to have the third charge dropped because he’s Cherokee, but the judge denied that request.
