Daniel Webster has had a solid season so far posting an 11-4 mark. One reason for their success has been guard Anthony Pritchard.

News On 6’s Dan Hawk caught up with the future Tennessee Tech player on how he hopes to bring Webster their first title in over 50 years.

Anthony Pritchard has become one of the premier sharpshooters for Daniel Webster.

The soon-to-be Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles is averaging 24 points a game and has become a player head coach Scott Bowman can rely on.

"The whole team is comfortable when he gets it because he sees and distributes the ball. He makes everyone better on the court, our post catches the ball and they get easy buckets with just catching and scoring,” Bowman said.

Pritchard is a complete player, whether it's shooting from long-range or throwing down above the rim.

"When I get a dunk, it brings energy out of the whole team, the bench, the coaches and even the fans,” Pritchard said.

“His head is on the backboard when he is dunking sometimes and some of the blocked shots he gets are unbelievable and the rebounds he gets," Bowman said.

Pritchard is just 87 points away from the 2,000 mark, and at Daniel Webster, that’s just one of his goals that he wants to hit. He also wants to bring the Warriors their first state title since 1966.

"It’s my senior year, that’s a big goal of mine, for me to achieve,” Pritchard said. “I want to get a chance to at least play in a state championship game.”
