Hundreds of people in Sperry spent all day Tuesday without power as frigid temperatures covered the state.

Some power lines that went down due to icy conditions knocked out power for about 230 homes. Residents were anxious they'd have to brave the night in the cold.

"That kind of freaks me out because it's cold, we're all going to have to sleep in recliners and our propane. Hopefully we don't run out of propane," resident Charlene Richardson said.

Sperry Fire and Rescue reports that North Cincinnati at 91st Street was closed due to downed power lines.

As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, PSO's website shows power has been restored for all but four customers in the Sperry area.

You can visit the power outage map here for more details.
