Tulsa Health Department Postpones Wednesday COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

The Tulsa Health Department has postponed all COVID-19 vaccine appointments on Wednesday due to the winter weather conditions.

Anyone who had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday will now get their shot on Wednesday, March 3rd.

According to the health department, if you are able to make that new appointment date, do not make any changes in the state's vaccine portal. If you can not make the new appointment, you will need to look for a new date in the portal.

Currently, THD vaccine clinics will continue as scheduled on Thursday, but that could change as winter weather continues to make its way across the state.

Friday vaccine appointments are also expected to go on as planned, along with a second-dose clinic in Owasso for those who received their first dose on January 22nd.

Officials from the health department said vaccine doses are not being wasted due to these cancellations.

New appointment dates are listed below:

Appointments originally scheduled on:

February 10th will be made up on Saturday, February 20th at the lower level of the River Spirit Expo.

February 11th will be made up on Thursday, February 18th at the lower level of the River Spirit Expo.

February 12th will be made up on February 22nd and February 25th at the Expo Square Pavilion. See email for more details on which day.

Appointments originally scheduled on February 15th will be made up on Saturday, February 27th, at the Expo Square Pavilion.

February 17th will be made up on Wednesday, March 3rd, at the Expo Square Pavilion. Only those on the roster at noon on February 16th will be rescheduled for this make-up date.
