GRDA Identifies Man Who Died After Falling Through Ice On Grand Lake

The Grand River Dam Authority has released more information after they say a man fell through the ice on Grand Lake and died.

The GRDA and the Delaware County Sheriff's Office say 53-year-old Greg Garner of Broken Arrow died Monday night after he fell into the freezing water near Port Duncan on Monkey Island while trying to rescue two dogs that had fallen through the ice. Garner's body was recovered Monday night just after 9 p.m.

Deputies say the two dogs also appear to have died.
