Update: The City of Tulsa has added additional stations to offer free water beginning at 12 p.m. Saturday. You can go to LaFortune Park, McClure Community Center or the TCC Northeast Campus.

A lot of people in Tulsa are facing a similar problem.

"You can't flush the toilet; you can't even wash your hands; you can't brush your teeth. It's terrible," said Carole Snyder, who lives in Tulsa.

No water has made everyday tasks quite difficult.

"I've never seen it like this," she said.

More than a hundred waterline breaks throughout the city have shut off water for thousands of residential customers and businesses. While crews work around the clock to fix them, the city is offering free water.

"It's a lot easier. Probably before, in the past, we didn't have nowhere to go," said Celia Crust from Tulsa.

For the second straight day, Tulsa residents showed up at the River Spirit Expo at the fairgrounds for clean water. Some brought buckets, others jugs and bottles.

Celia Crust hasn't had water at her home for more than two days and is using the water to refill her toilets.

"Luckily, I had started stocking up on water in pots and pans and things like that,” said Crust. “It's just mainly the hygiene part I hate."

Others like Le Anne Nichols went to several stores but couldn't find any bottled water. So, she came here to collect all she could.

"This is for brushing teeth and all of that,” said Nichols. “I found a place where we can go and take showers. It's my daughter and myself; we have electricity."

Nichols said she's looking at the positives, but she is hoping her water is back on soon. With temperatures rising next week, she hopes the worst is behind her.

"It'll get fixed. I don't know when. But it'll get fixed," she said.

The city said you can also go to any fire station in town to get water during the day, but be patient because fire crews may be out on a call.
