Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Saturday.
.KEEP CONSERVING: While Green Country thaws out, everyone is still asked to conserve electricity after a week-long energy emergency. The call to reduce power use continues until 10 p.m. Saturday night.
.FOOD GIVEAWAY: Victory Church is opening its doors to those in need. Families in need can pick up free groceries and household items from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 71st and Lewis.
.STOCK THE PANTRY: The Owasso Food Bank and Boy Scouts of America need your help to replenish the food pantry. You can drive in and they’ll unload your non-expired and non-perishable food donations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Redbud Festival Park on North Main.
.THE ADOPTER: There’s a Bachelor-themed pet adoption event in the Farm Shopping Center at 51st and Sheridan. Adoptable dogs and cats are searching for love and guests can walk down the red carpet to meet their paw-fect match. That’s from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
.SEARCH IS ON: Tulsa’s favorite treasure hunt is back. The vintage show features 250 booths at the exchange center at Expo Square from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
.GAME DAY: The oilers are back home inside the BOK taking on the Wichita Thunder. It’s also Autism Awareness night. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.
