Flowers are thriving into clouds of blossoms, creating breathtaking views for people in parts of China that are seeing a warm spring.

A busy flower season is back to Wuhan University in central China, as the campus' early cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Flower watchers captured stunning footage while wandering along the road.

The university is one of the best places nationwide to enjoy cherry blossoms in early spring.

And this year, visitors can feel a little bit different because they all missed the last blossoming season.

"The campus was closed last year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. The cherry blossoms were left alone here at that time. As the epidemic has been well brought under control in China so far this year, residents in Wuhan City, as well as students, workers and teachers of the university all come for the flowers in this warm spring," said He Jiannong, a senior engineer with the Logistics Group of Wuhan University.

Meanwhile, plum flowers in a tourist resort in Deyang City of the southwestern province of Sichuan have attracted large numbers of visitors hoping to witness the picturesque blossoms.

The plum flowers in Wanfo Village of Maguan Town under Luojiang District, blooming into a sea, offer tourists some amazing spring views.

"I didn't know that there is such a beautiful place in Luojiang, so I just want to draw a picture of it," said Wei Tairong, a tourist and also a painting enthusiast.

A high-speed railway runs by the plum flowers garden.

Therefore, visitors can also enjoy the trains rushing along the line with a foreground of blossoms.

In the neighboring province of Yunnan, the 6,700 hectares of plum fruit trees along Jinsha River are in their peak flower season.

White like the snow, the blossoms turn the mountains in Suijiang County into settings of a fairy tale.

"I'm from Hainan Province. I heard the flowers here are very pretty, so I've rushed here just for them. It's like a wonderland,'' said Ms. Fu, a tourist coming all the way from more than a thousand kilometers away.
