Impactful Teacher Of The Month: Heather Cagle

February's Impactful Teacher is Heather Cagle from Verdigris Schools.

Heather teaches Pre-Kindergarten at the Verdigris Early Childhood Development Center.

This is her ninth year of teaching. she taught for three years at Justice-Tiawah and then Verdigris Early Childhood after that.

Heather said she got into teaching to help children.

"For most of my kids, this is their first experience with school. I just want to make sure that when they come in, they feel safe, and they feel loved. That they walk away with some great memories. I just want them to be set up to have a successful education," Heather said.

As a reward for being selected as our Impactful Teacher, she's getting $1,000 to spend however she likes thanks to T-Mobile.
