The jury has just been selected in the trial for the accused getaway driver after two police officers were shot last summer.

Matthew Hall is charged with accessory to murder after Sergeant Craig Johnson was shot and killed and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan was shot and critically injured.

Now that the jury is selected, opening statements will start Wednesday morning. Matthew Hall is accused of picking up David Ware after the shooting last June and driving him away from the scene.

Ware is charged with murder in the death of Sergeant Johnson during a traffic stop and shooting with intent to kill for injuring Officer Zarkeshan.

Hall's attorney said Hall picked up Ware 30 seconds after Ware fired his final shot at the officers.

Both have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
