The Tulsa Health Department is working with churches and community organizations to distribute COVID-19 vaccines to those in underserved communities.

The department said there are now 1,000 additional weekly vaccination appointments available for those living in northern Tulsa County. The vaccination appointments will be for its north regional health and wellness center.

Scheduling for the appointments will be done through churches and community organizations, not the state’s online portal.

Anyone who lives, works, or attends religious services in the zip codes of 74126, 74106, 74127, 74110, and 74140 is eligible to receive these doses at this time.

If you are eligible in this area, faith-based and community organizations have received information to assist individuals with scheduling an appointment.
