Tulsa Firefighters Rescue Woman Who Escaped To Roof During House Fire

Tulsa firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire near West Archer Street and North Phoenix Avenue on Tuesday morning.

This happened after 9 a.m.

Firefighters said a woman was on the roof of a duplex when they arrived. They said she climbed out a window to escape the flames.

Firefighters were able to rescue the woman from the roof.

Andy Little with the Tulsa Fire Department said no people were hurt in the fire, but two dogs and one cat died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
