If you're looking for a quick and healthy meal to start your day then you should try out this new recipe. In today's Cooking Corner, Montereau's Laura Allen shows us how to make easy overnight oats!
INGREDIENTS
1/3 CUP OATS
½ CUP MILK (ANY MILK OPTION)
INSTRUCTIONS – PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES
1. Combine the oats and milk in a container, mix and cover.
2. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
3. In the morning, remove from refrigerator. Can be served cold or heated in the microwave.
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
ADD 1 TBS Black Chia Seed and ¼ cup of water to the oats to night preparation.
In the morning, prior to serving, top with fresh or frozen fruit, nuts or granola. Sweeten with a drizzle of honey.
Makes 1 serving.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
