The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is planning to start in-person and virtual career fairs across the state on Wednesday. The virtual option will be available until the end of the month.

OESC Executive Director Shelley Zumwalt said this is the right time to help employers connect with Oklahomans needing a job since the economy continues to improve.

The virtual fair starts Wednesday and ends on May 28. An in-person fair is set to take place at Expo Square in Tulsa on Thursday and Friday.

Two other fairs are expected to take place at the Oklahoma City Convention Center on May 17th and 18th.

Registration fees for participating employers are covered through CARES Act funding. An online portal is available for employers to post open positions and schedule interviews.

Interview areas will also be set up at each in-person location for participants.
