The City of Tulsa announced Thursday that Amazon will be building another facility in the Tulsa area.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum called it another big Amazon announcement with plans to build a $32 million facility near Tulsa International Airport.

According to the city, the new 270,000 square foot Amazon operations facility will be built on North Mingo between 36th Street North and Apache.

The sortation center is expected to be completed later in 2021 and the City said that it will bring hundreds of full and part-time jobs.

Amazon said that it hopes to begin the hiring process in the summer.
