Tulsa Police: Man Dead After Being Hit By Pickup Truck On Charles Page Boulevard

Tulsa police say a man is dead after he was hit by a pickup truck on Charles Page Boulevard early Thursday morning.

According to Tulsa police, officers first responded to a call around 2 a.m. about a man dead in the road on Charles Page Boulevard between Gilcrease Museum Road and Newblock Park.

Police say that a woman had seen the man laying down in the road and tried to talk to him, but he could only mumble to her. The woman said it was at about that time that she noticed a pickup truck with two men inside heading toward the man.

The woman said that she tried to flag the truck down to stop, but was unable to and the truck ran over the man lying in the road.

Officers on the scene said it was unclear if the man had fallen asleep in the road or he had already been hit by a car once.

Police questioned the men inside of the truck and they were released.
