Woman Killed, Several Children Injured After Crash In Ottawa County

A woman is dead and several children are hurt after a crash in Ottawa County on Monday.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Karin Roach died after the van she was driving along OK-125 swerved into another lane, hitting an oncoming SUV.

Four children ages 9 to 15 were inside of the vehicle at the time of the crash and were treated for injuries including a broken arm, they are expected to recover.

The driver of the SUV is in a Joplin hospital with burns and is also expected to recover.
