Tuesday's teacher of the day is Joyce Hembree, a pre- kindergarten teacher at Tulsa Public Schools.

The person who nominated her said that she is "an amazing teacher and an awesome person. Every school day she hosts multiple zoom calls for students, keeping them engaged, excited, and learning."

Her nominator told News On 6 that she has even met parents on her own time "to make sure all the kids have school supplies. We love Mrs. Hembree!"
