Okmulgee Police: 1 Man Killed After Being Shot Multiple Times

The Okmulgee Police Department is investigating after a 28-year-old man was found shot multiple times Saturday night.

OKMULGEE, Oklahoma -

A man is dead after a shooting near the 1300 block of East Smith Street, according to the Okmulgee Police Department.

OPD, has confirmed that 28-year-old Jamison Weeden died overnight after being shot multiple times. Police say they were called to a home in the area around 11 p.m. Saturday night, where officers found Weeden and transported him to the hospital where he later died.

Police say a witness reported seeing a small blue vehicle leave the residence shortly before officers arrived, but officers do not have any other suspect information. Police say Weeden does not live at the home. Chief of Police Joe Prentice says that this investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
