LaFortune Park Baseball Fields Get New Scoreboards Courtesy Of Barry Switzer

The baseball fields at LaFortune Park in Tulsa have new scoreboards and video boards thanks to OU football coach Barry Switzer.

Coach Switzer has helped put up more than 100 boards in Oklahoma. Tulsa County Commissioners say they will provide a video feed for those who can't make it to games. It will also be used for advertising with money going back into the park.

"We're back in action and better than ever with the new boards," said Commissioner Stan Sallee.

"They learn the value of what team sports does for kids, give them a basis and a lot of the intangibles that will help them the rest of their life," said Switzer.

New boards will soon be installed at O'Brien Park as well.
