McAlester Police Identify Body Found In Burned Truck

McAlester Police have identified the man found inside a burned truck at McAlester Lake.

Police identified the man as 37-year-old Alex Marco. The McAlester Police Chief told News On 6 they suspect foul play.

The 911 caller told investigators they saw the truck on fire near a boat ramp at Lake McAlester around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. The witness also told police they heard what sounded like bullets popping off from inside the truck.

When officers and firefighters got to the scene, the truck was fully engulfed in flames. Investigators say after firefighters put the fire out, they found a body in the back seat.
