McAlester School District Updating Return Plan After Some Confusion 

Some McAlester parents said they are confused, after the district published its return-to-school plan online. The district told News On 6 it is required by law to have its plan posted, so it used last year’s information since the school board will not vote on this year’s plan until Aug. 9. Monday’s school board meeting is in person, and you can also watch it online here.

Thunder Fellows, a partnership program between the OKC Thunder and Creative Arts Agency is officially opening its doors for applicants. The program is designed to help Black youth in Tulsa to career opportunities in sports, entertainment and technology through a curriculum based in data and analytics.
