Widespread Power Outages In Skiatook, Collinsville Impacting Nearly 2,000 People

Nearly 2,000 residents are without power due to a GRDA transmission line, the Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative reported Wednesday night.

VVEC outage map shows the outage is impacting the entire town of Skiatook, as well as the Collinsville, Owasso, Sand Springs, and Barnsdall areas.

The outage is impacting 1,000 residents as of 10 p.m. but there were nearly 3,000 people without power at 9:30 p.m.

VVEC said they are aware of the issue and said power will be back on as soon as GRDA is able to restore their issue.
