The City of Tulsa, in partnership with 36 Degrees North, is revealing its new “Tech Incubator” space in downtown Tulsa on Tuesday. The $1.25 million project will now be open to tech-enabled companies in Tulsa who need a place to grow their business within the community.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday evening at 5:15 p.m. Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, 36 Degrees North Owner Devon Laney, and others will cut the ribbon to the new Tech Incubator.
The 50,000 square foot space is located on the fifth floor of City Hall in downtown Tulsa. The million-dollar project was funded by the state of Oklahoma’s Coronavirus Relief Funds and represents a private-public partnership between 36 Degrees North and the City of Tulsa to allow the creation of new high-growth businesses in the community.
The entrepreneur company also has an office and workspace on W. Cameron St. downtown as well.
In the past year 36 Degrees North has helped create more than 1,500 jobs in the community and they say they are excited to continue that trend.
