City Of Bixby Reporting Water Outages For Some Areas

The City of Bixby is reporting a water outage impacting some areas Thursday morning.

According to a post on the city's Facebook page, the water outage has been confined to the Saker addition from 169th Street to 171st Street and approximately 8300 block to South 88 East Avenue.

The city says that there are currently water outages for areas south of 161 Street from Yale To Mingo, including Leonard and the Lake Bixhoma area.

According to the city, all Bixby water customers south of the Arkansas River could experience low water pressure during the outages.

It is currently unclear what caused the outage and when service will return to normal.
