Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Man Last Seen In Muskogee

A Silver Alert was issued early Sunday morning for a missing man last seen in Muskogee.

The Muskogee Police Department identified the missing man as 71-year-old Gary Dale Smith.

Authorities said Smith was last seen at his sister's residence near the intersection of North 28th Street and West Okmulgee Avenue just after midnight Sunday.

Smith is known to have been wearing a green plaid shirt and either khaki or green pants.

Police said Smith, who is approximately six feet tall, left his sister's residence in a dark-colored GMC Acadia with Minnesota license plates on the front and back of the vehicle.
